We celebrate the Māori culture of Aotearoa New Zealand, which holds special importance in our journeys. Our logo and identity embrace the Māori concept of ‘whakapapa’, a fundamental principle that links oneself to the land and identity.
Inspired by the majestic landscapes of the North and South Islands, the landforms are decorated by koru, representing unfolding fern fronds, a powerful symbol of growth and harmony. This decorative koru pattern is reminiscent of the ‘kowhaiwhai’ design, which commonly adorns the rafters in traditional Māori meeting houses.
